LIVE IN LONDON '79

1 CD

Label: Alive The Live IACD10752
Country: Japan. I guess so, can't confirm but believe so.
Released: December 24th. 2021.
Recorded: Hammersmith Odeon, London  England, December 24th. 1975.
Sound: Excellent soundboard recording.
Comments:  Part of the 'Kampuchea' benefit concert on boxing day in December '79. Queen played a full set on the first day of 4 days, which included many other major artists. Kampuchea concert's.
This cd has the exact track list as another cd bootleg 'The Concert For Kampuchea' 1cd  (Gossip 054), which was released around the same time as thisone.
In May 2021, a 6cd box set was released. Disc one contains exactly this track's, so this release seams to be more a re-press etc of that release.
I can not confirm 100%, but it has the same track, same concert, etc. Not so important, but mention this to tell you that there are many re-presses and re-releases of concerts.
This Hammersmith Odeon concert was professionally filmed and recorded, but only one Queen track was used on a 2lp collection of the benefit concerts.

A 60 minute television broadcast called 'Queen Special' was broadcasted worldwide in 1980. This broadcast contains part of this live concert.
Some track on this cd comes from this broadcast. I don't have this bootleg, so I can't confirm which tracks yet.
Roots: Television broadcast and audience recorded tape.

The worldwide hit of the movie "Bohemian Rhapsody" reaffirms the greatness of the rock band Queen. The live album of the concert at London Hammersmith Odeon on December 26, 1979, which is said to be a famous performance in the history of Queen's live, has appeared!
The concert of the day, which was held as part of the Cambodian Refugee Relief Concert, will be recorded and broadcast for a special BBC TV / radio program.

This work is released using the broadcast sound source. Queen is touring the world including Japan to promote the album "Jazz" released in the previous year, and it is this charity concert that will be the Chiaki music, and the band as well as the audience will be excited! New The live album of the set list, which covers not only the songs of the album "Jazz" but also the representative songs of Queen at this time, must be a tearful thing for the fans!
