One more 2LP bootleg from this Earls
Court concert. Queen did 2 dates at Earls Court this June in 1977.
June 6th & 7th. Both dates was
professional recorded and filmed. But, so far not released
officially in any form. The recording on this 2lp comes
originally from a video shown at early UK Queen conventions in late
eighties and early nineties. Even the sound is more than less
excellent, it can not be compered with officially live albums. But
all in all, this is a nice vinyl bootleg, and a nice record to have
in your Queen collection.
A handful of professional bootlegs (cd's
& lp's) has been released before. All seams to be from this
convention video source, but since there are no officially released
records from this concert, this 2lp is a good choice if you want a
recording from this 'A Day At The Races' tour.
The medley on side 4, might come from the 7th, the concert the day
after. But I'm unsure about this for the moment.
Information on this has circulated on internet over the years.
Available on
common BLACK vinyl, aswell on RED
and
BLUE
vinyl. I've read information that 500 copies released on each
version, but can't confirm this is 100% true.
