| Comments: | This is the sound from the
officially Queen VHS video 'Live In Budapest'. A laser disc was released in Japan & USA, sometime after the VHS video release. I've read the sound on this 2lp, is taken from the laser disc release. The video & laser disc is identical. This bootleg 2lp comes in red vinyl (record 1) and clear vinyl (record 2) (500 copies pressed this way). There is also a version with the first record pressed in green vinyl and the second record in clear vinyl. (250 copies pressed this way). The cover artwork is directly derived from the laserdisc release Also available on DVD bootlegs with various titles & production quality. This show was officially released on DVD & Blu-ray in 2012, contains the tracks on the VHS video. DVD & Blu-ray versions was also released with the full show on 2cd's enclosed in the DVD or Blu-ray case. There is so far, no separate 2cd releasing. So you can get versions with DVD or Blu-ray only, or with 2cd (complete audio) enclosed. I've been told the reason for missing tracks on the DVD & Blu-ray, was that the original films (filmed by 17 cameras) was no longer available. Lost in the Hungarian film companies archives. I've read several film companies was involved in this film production. |
