Recorded live at Sporthalle, Cologne,
Germany, February 1st. 1979 during the Jazz World Tour.
Re-release made from the same plates as the early eighties
unofficial Italian release "Save Me".
The records are mastered a
bit too slow but can perfectly be played well by using the pitch
adjustment control.
Incomplete show. The last part of the show
is missing (Fun It (Tease, by Freddie Mercury), Bohemian Rhapsody,
Tie Your Mother Down - Encore: Sheer Heart Attack, We Will Rock You,
We Are the Champions, God Save the Queen).
The black/white cover
opens up on the upper side and has artwork made by H. R. Giger. The
left corner has the name "Queen" in white letters while the right
side has the name "Gary Moore" in white letters. The title "We Will
Rock You Alive" is pasted with a white sticker onto the "Gary Moore"
name (sometimes more than 1 sticker to cover up the name "Gary
Moore"). It's safe to assume that the opposite happened for a
unofficial "Gary Moore" release |
