A historic night when the QUEEN style that has been passed down is completed. A masterpiece live album that you can witness at the scene is here.
”The historic night is“ NEWS OF THE WORLD TOUR ”Chiaki Raku“ Wembley performance on May 13, 1978 ”. This is a long audience recording. So far, this show has been famous for the last performance of “White Queen (As It Began)” that was shown in the surprise, but it was only reported halfway through the show. This work is a truly historic encore. For the first time in the world, QUEEN's absolute highlight “We Will Rock You” → “We Are The Champions” → “God Save The Queen” ended with a show. This work is the longest version (108 minutes version) live album where you can taste the historical scene.

To introduce this work, you must start with the conventional short version (79 minutes version). This is an audience recording that started from the third song "Somebody To Love" and was recorded up to the middle guitar solo. It was a vintage audience where singing voices and performances were delivered to their hands even though there was some distance. That sound alone wasn't noticed, but what surprised the mania was the aforementioned "White Queen (As It Began)". Until then, “A DAY AT THE RACES TOUR” Earl's Court performance was thought to be the last, but this day was specially performed due to “NEWS OF THE WORLD TOUR” Chiaki Raku. It was a genuine last performance.

It was handed down as a “masterpiece known to those who know it” due to the wonderfulness of the performance, but the second half master recorded until the end was also discovered. As usual, the performance part remains unknown, but now it is possible to listen to “almost the whole view” of 108 minutes together with the first half. What's more, the sound of this second half is even better. It is said that it is “2nd generation through the first and second half”, but for some reason the first half is not much different from the previous one, but the second half is much improved in both direct and clear. Freddy's singing voice and Brian's guitar are as vivid as a few lines ago, with little hiss. It is a completely upgraded sound. This work is a live album of such a best master faithfully.
That ’s why the long show is great. Speaking of “NEWS OF THE WORLD TOUR”, the super masterpiece “ULTIMATE HOUSTON 1977” will be the standard, so let's organize the set while comparing.

● QUEEN (2 songs)
・ Liar / Keep Yourself Alive
● SHEER HEART ATTACK (2 songs)
・ Killer Queen / Now I'm Here
● A NIGHT AT THE OPERA (7 songs)
・ Death on Two Legs (Dedicated to ...) / I'm In Love With My Car / You're My Best Friend / Love Of My Life / '39 / The Prophet's Song / Bohemian Rhapsody
● A DAY AT THE RACES (5 songs)
・ Somebody To Love / Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy / The Millionaire Waltz / White Man / Tie Your Mother Down
● NEWS OF THE WORLD (7 songs)
・ Get Down Make Love / My Melancholy Blues / Sheer Heart Attack / We Will Rock You / We Are The Champions
・ Ultimate HOUSTON 1977 songs: Spread Your Wings / It's Late
● Other (2 songs)
・ Jailhouse Rock
・ Ultimate HOUSTON 1977 song: White Queen (As It Began) “QUEEN II”

... and it looks like this. Even though the opening part is lacking, you can enjoy 3 songs that you couldn't listen to in "ULTIMATE HOUSTON 1977". Moreover, not only “White Queen (As It Began)”, but also “Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy”, “The Millionaire Waltz”, “My Melancholy Blues”, “White Man” and “The Prophet's Song” are the final performances ( “The Millionaire Waltz” was played a bit as an intro for other songs, but this is the last day of the full).

The performance itself exceeds the record value of such data. Actually, this day is also known as a great show that hits the heavens, and the overwhelming momentum is amazing anyway. Freddie's voice is growing in every song, and a drastic singing voice that doesn't think about tomorrow's condition is skipped only on the final day. The “Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy” scat, which always seems to be suppressed, is also crisp, and the touch of the “Liar” piano has never been stronger.

The historic and delicious “We Will Rock You” → “We Are The Champions” → “God Save The Queen” explode. It is a golden highlight that I do not know how many times I listened to it, including "QUEEN +" in later years, but this is the first one. Of course, in this work too, the audience in the field swells and sings in a perfect flow. This enthusiasm and this response changed the history ... It is a live album that can be immersed in the whole body in such a feeling.

QUEEN spells out a set of numerous retired songs and new forms. It is a historical live album that goes beyond the final day of the world tour and determines the “QUEEN live style” itself. The more I knew Freddie's average, the more amazing I was surprised, and the more the change in the set stuck to my mind, the more I felt the final performance. It is not just a vintage recording, but a work that overflows with a special feeling as you step into QUEEN history. Please chew carefully.
