Comments:  A collection of already well know recordings. Available on many other bootlegs. The Rainbow live shows from March & November 1974, was NOT recorded by BBC. Often fake listed as BBC 'In concert' recordings.
Those Rainbow show was recorded by the bands management.
Limited edition of 400 copies. A nice release, but nothing new.

I was at this years (2013) UK Fan club convention. Queen archivist Greg Brooks has a session there. He told that they now work with all 3 Rainbow gigs Queen did in 1974. March 31st, November 19th. & 20th. All tree gigs was pro-recorded on multitrack tapes.
Both November gigs was pro-filmed to. About one hour of this film was released on VHS, included in the 'Box of Tricks' 92 release.
Only 2 tracks from the March gig has so far been found on film. It's unsure if more was filmed. If you know about more films from March 31st, I'll be very glad to know. I will than inform Greg Brooks.
I talk to Greg about the planed release of this Rainbow gigs, and he say's that they have all 3 gigs on the mention multitrack tapes, but he don't know yet which form it will be released in. All 3 show in a box with cd's &  DVD, or in more separate form etc. The final decision will be Queen Productions choice. I really hope they will release them more that less on complete form. At least the March show. He also mention there is a track they did (marsh 31st), which surprise him they did at that time. He doesn't named the song. Will be the surprise.
Roots: BBC recordings, and from the bands own archive. Rainbow Nov. 1974 was released on VHS video back in 1992 included in a box, which was sold true commercial television ad. Title 'Box Of Tricks'. This recordings are taken from that video. The Rainbow March 31st. show, was the first Queen show to be bootlegged on vinyl back in Feb. 1975. Title 'Sheetckeeckers'. US TAKRL bootleg. Later on many other vinyl & cd bootlegs. To many to mention.
